Staviteľom bol Nicoletto Rauter, o ktorom sa na základe jeho mena predpokladá, že mal taliansky pôvod. Z architektonického a umeleckého hľadiska Rosenfeldov palác reprezentuje syntézu dekoratívnosti historizmu a nastupujúceho mladého umeleckého štýlu secesie. Vďaka bohatej štukovej výzdobe, zobrazujúcej rôzne rastlinné motívy, geometrické tvary a ženské tváre nazývané maskaróny s ružami vo vlasoch, ornamentálnosti, dreveným obkladom, zdobeným kovaniam, mramorovým stĺpom, schodisku a veľkým oknám s leptanými sklami, nachádzajúcimi sa v prejazdovej chodbe, o ktorej sa hovorí aj ako o najreprezentatívnejšom priestore paláca, patrí budova paláca medzi najvýznamnejšie pamiatky postavené po roku 1900 v regióne severozápadného Slovenska.

The builder was Nicoletto Rauter, who is assumed by his name to have been of an Italian origin. From the architectural and artistic point of view, the Rosenfeld Palace represents the synthesis of the historicism and the emerging young artistic Art Nouveau style. Thanks to its rich stucco decoration, depicting various plant motifs, geometric shapes and feminine faces called mascarons with roses in the hair, ornamentation, wooden lining, decorative forging, marble column, staircase and large etched glass windows in the passageway, which is also referred to as the most representative area of the palace, the Palace building belongs to the most important monuments built after 1900 in the region of North West Slovakia.
